CAD Software

Our Institute for Vehicle Propulsion Systems (LAF) is able to carry out complex developments with the help of "Computer Aided Design" software (CAD). Computer Aided Design (CAD) is a computer-aided design tool used in almost all areas of technology. Common tools include PTC Creo, Ansys, NX, CATIA and a variety of other design tools. These software packages offer a wide range of design options and simplify collaboration with industry partners.

Our own developments include various fully variable valve train concepts, the complete development of cylinder heads and the development of a single-cylinder research engine.
